Long version
ReminderMAP is a Mac app that gives Apple Reminders the structure it has never had. Reminders is an excellent capture tool, reachable from Siri, the Lock Screen, a watch and Shortcuts, and it is flat by design: no groups inside a list, no tree, and a completed task disappears.
ReminderMAP reads those same reminders through EventKit, Apple’s official interface, and presents them as a mind map that can be grouped and nested as deep as the work goes, including groups that pull tasks from several lists together. Everything it changes is written straight back, so Siri, iPhone and watch keep working exactly as before.
What Apple Reminders has no field for lives in a local database on the user’s own Mac: the group tree, four states with a written reason when something is stuck, a dated work log per task, and a month by month record of completed work. That planning layer can also be connected to an AI assistant through a local MCP endpoint that never leaves the machine.

What it is not
ReminderMAP is not a standalone mind mapping tool. A mind map app starts you at a blank canvas and, where it syncs to Reminders at all, pushes tasks out in one direction. Open ReminderMAP and the work is already on screen, because the reminders are the data.
It is not another to do app either. The category’s usual offer is that you move in and abandon Reminders, which means giving up Siri, the Lock Screen, the watch and every Shortcut already built around it.
The whole idea sits in between: a mind map built on Apple Reminders, where every piece of work lives in one picture and the tasks never leave the place they were captured.
03 / Origin
Why it exists
ReminderMAP was built by Emma, who has spent ten years as a product manager and a founder. That is ten years of living inside task lists, and of watching work arrive from several directions at once and get captured wherever it was caught, which in practice meant Apple Reminders. The list grew past the point where a list is any use.
The instinct was to lay it out as a mind map, because that is how the work is actually shaped: several parallel lines, each with its own branches, most of them waiting on something. No such app existed. The mind map tools wanted the map to be the source of truth and treated Reminders as an export target. The task managers wanted everything moved across into their own island.
So the missing piece got built: one map over the tasks that were already there, with nothing to migrate and nothing to keep in sync by hand. ReminderMAP is published by DOZYWAVE LTD.
We are not a mind mapping tool, and we are not a to do app. We are a mind map built on Apple Reminders, so all of the work is in one picture.
